Apart from the fact almost everyone finds tags annoying, for those with sensory-related dressing needs tags can make a huge difference to comfort, and therefore regulation and participation in other more important activities. Printed-on labels are also beneficial for those with reduced mobility who may be at risk of getting pressure sores from big bulky tags, or are unable to adjust their clothing to eliminate the discomfort caused by tags and labels.

Flat seams are much less irritating than traditional seams as they don’t ‘stick out’, so they can barely be felt. Often people with sensory-related dressing needs can find clothing features like seams extremely irritating, which can therefore impact their ability to regulate and attend to other more important tasks. Flat seams are also great for those with reduced mobility, as it significantly reduces the chance of pressure sores from traditional seams.

Often people who use a wheelchair have the front of their tops covered by straps or different wheelchair accessories, causing the branding on the front of their clothes to be lost. By adding our logo onto the sleeves no one misses out on showing off their JAM.

The Raglan style of sleeves provides a larger armhole for greater access when being stretched around arms and shoulders. This improved access can be helpful for those with reduced shoulder and elbow mobility as well as those that require physical assistance to get dressed.
