Label:
None of JAM’s products have tags or care labels. Apart from the fact almost everyone finds tags annoying, for those with sensory-related dressing needs tags can make a huge difference to comfort, and therefore regulation and participation in other more important activities. Printed-on labels are also beneficial for those with reduced mobility who may be at risk of getting pressure sores from big bulky tags, or are unable to adjust their clothing to eliminate the discomfort caused by tags and labels.

Fabric:
Made from a high-quality cotton blend that is not only durable and stylish, but adds function by being stretchy enough to pull on with ease, similar to tracksuit pants.

Elastic waist:
We’ve made the back of our pants extra stretchy by adding an elasticated waist for those who would rather pull the pants on like tracksuit pants. For those with reduced strength or have difficulty with the grasping and pulling motion, we’ve included subtle reinforced belt loops so you can loop into them and use to pull the pants on.

Velcro:
There are two long velcro strips along the front of the waistband that allows for easy fastening of the pants, but also adjustability. If you need to make the waistband a bit wider or smaller, you can attach the velcro at different points along the strip. This is high-quality velcro that is strong but also non-fluffy, for comfort and durability.

The drop crotch style provides extra room to be able to pull the pants up into a high-waisted position, which is beneficial for wheelchair users or those in the seated position so the pants aren’t falling down at the back. The drop crotch is also great for the discretion of continence aids.
