Elastic Waist and Pull Tabs, Printed label (no tags)

Elastic Waist and Pull Tabs:
We’ve made the back of our pants extra stretchy by adding an elasticated waist for those who would rather pull the pants on like tracksuit pants. For those with reduced strength or have difficulty with the grasping and pulling motion, we’ve included subtle pull tabs at the front of the waistband and at the back of the pants so you can loop into them and use to pull the pants on.

Printed label:
None of JAM’s products have tags or care labels. Apart from the fact almost everyone finds tags annoying, for those with sensory-related dressing needs tags can make a huge difference to comfort, and therefore regulation and participation in other more important activities. Printed-on labels are also beneficial for those with reduced mobility who may be at risk of getting pressure sores from big bulky tags, or are unable to adjust their clothing to eliminate the discomfort caused by tags and labels.

Hidden side zips with press stud closures down both sides of thighs

Our pants have bilateral side access via hidden zips along the side seams with press stud closures at the waist. This allows the pants to open right up and provide easy access to things like continence aids, catheters, and other medical devices. This feature is also handy for those that get dressed lying down with the assistance of someone else, as you don’t need to worry about pulling the pants up, you can just zip them on. We have put fabric underneath the zips to minimise any sensory irritation.

Cargo pockets on thighs with magnetic closures

The cargo pockets are intentionally positioned at the front of the thighs for ease of use and to eliminate pressure risk for those in the seated position. The cargo-style pockets are fastened shut through magnetic closures which means your belongings are safe inside, but easy to access when needed. This is convenient for those that may struggle to use buttons or who may need secure pockets as they don’t see and hear that their belongings have fallen out.
