None of JAM’s products have tags or care labels. Apart from the fact almost everyone finds tags annoying, for those with sensory-related dressing needs tags can make a huge difference to comfort, and therefore regulation and participation in other more important activities. Printed-on labels are also beneficial for those with reduced mobility who may be at risk of getting pressure sores from big bulky tags, or are unable to adjust their clothing to eliminate the discomfort caused by tags and labels.

All buttons have been replaced by small, round magnets. For those that physically struggle to use buttons (such as those with limited fine motor skills, those with limb difference or those who have difficulty with the sequencing of doing buttons), this creates independence in getting dressed and undressed, instead of getting assistance to use the buttons. For those that require full physical assistance to get dressed, this makes the process a lot easier and quicker for the person assisting. Magnetic closures can also assist those with Chronic Pain and/or Chronic Fatigue who may not have difficulty physically using buttons, but the time and effort required to do so takes away from more meaningful tasks in their day.

Having press studs at the cuff and elbow of both sleeves means you can easily fasten the sleeve at a shorter length if desired. No need to worry about the shirt continuing to roll-down once rolled-up. This is useful for those with limb difference in their arms, or those who may find buttons on cuffs difficult to use.
